Our 2nd Annual Pink Metal was a great success despite the weather of 50 degrees and rain. Our success was a true testimony of dedication to women rider’s while empowering women through education.
We had 39 participants who joined us for a ride to King Pin Lanes in Campbellsport for a great lunch. We traveled back through the scenic Kettle Moraine and the Long Lake area. Our final stop was back at Open Road H-D for root beer floats, a silent auction and raffle. We had many wonderful items donated by local businesses to make our fund raiser a big success. Nikki Stevens, the scholarship recipient from 2008 was with us to share her college progress and how much the scholarship has helped with her work toward her degree in civil engineering. She’s currently carrying a 4.0 GPA. Way to go Nikki!!!
