Just wanted to say thanks for a great experience we had when my Son, my wife and I stopped in to your store to pick up a lock for his Harley. I am looking for a used 06, 07 Street Bob and talked with Pete when I was there. I must tell you, not all Harley stores are alike. My bike broke down outside of town, and on a Friday when he was already servicing a large tour group and had a full local schedule; he came with a trailer to pick me and my bike up in less than 15 minutes and got me fixed up and back on the road less than an hour later. "Our apologies to your service manager Steve Sutheimer, as this huge "THANK YOU" is long overdue. We were traveling to Sheboygan last July and started having trouble with our bike by Mauston. We went there to the Harley shop in the morning but unfortunately for us, they didn't want to deal with our problem so we kept driving until we got to your dealership and Steve was absolutely wonderful. He not only looked the bike over, test drove it himself to see what the bike was doing, did all the diagnostic troubleshooting to pinpoint the problem, then gave us an easy fix to get us home, and he was correct in what the problem was. "My husband & I purchased two 2008 105th anniversary bikes. A Streetglide & a Roadglide. Pete set up a time with Tim on a Satuday. We were able to sit down and take our time to pick out our accessories. What I think was a "plus" was Tim was well aware of what bikes in the dealership had this and that on them. If we weren't sure about a accessory, Tim would say "let's walk up stairs or in the garage, I have a bike that has that on it" and away we went. Seeing things first hand just helps us feel we made the right choice. Also when picking an item out, Tim would inform us of things he might have learned that we might not be happy with down the road. He would inform us, but leave the final decision up to us. It's just knowing that it's not only about Open Road selling an accessory to a customer, it's about honesty and experience that Tim and Becky have to keep the riders comfortable, safe and have "hot looking bikes". We tell all of the people admiring our bikes that we purchased them at Open Road. My husband and I have both purchased Harleys in our lifetime by a total of 5 other dealerships. I have never had an experience at any of those other dealerships like ours at Open Road. "While on vacation riding around Lake Winnebago our Harley Ultra broke an exhaust y pipe. Open Road H-D does all the maintenance and accessorizing of our bikes. Open Road H-D quickly discovered a motor bearing went out and although the bike is not under warranty, they were able to get us a replacement motor. We were so excited that Open Road H-D was able to get Harley-Davidson Motor Company to stand behind their product, even after the warranty had expired! "The experience I had working with everyone at Open Road H-D during the purchase of my Softail Heritage was absolutely fantastic. What a great bunch of people. " I just wanted to drop you a note. Scott and I went down to Milwaukee last weekend after we saw you. Well my bike didn't start for most of the weekend, A problem that had happened in the beginning of the summer. When the problem reappeared, at such a bad time I was a little upset. anyway, we stopped at your shop on the way home and your guys got me right in and really took care of me. "All of you went above and beyond on Friday, 5-2-08, with the purchase of my new bike. "I would like for someone at Harley to acknowledge the GREAT job the members of HOG roadside assistance and for the EXCELLENT service the people at Open Road have for getting a fellow rider back on the road on our way to Tomahawk. Yes we froze are faces but it sure beat the hell out of sitting on the side of the road. OK, Here’s my story. On our way up to Tomahawk we had to pull off the highway to make some minor adjustments to a trailer. Thankfully so, when one of our crew pulled in on the clutch lever it was flopping in the breeze. We did our best to diagnose the problem, but lack of tools and knowledge left us at a dead end. Luckily he had roadside assistance, he called and they had a tow and mechanic set up for us. It wound up being a tranny adjuster nut that spun loose but did not come off and cause all kinds of damage and really ruin our trip! The point I would like to make is the folks at Open Road Harley-Davidson had us in and out in less time than it took to tow the bike to them. I just want to say a public THANK YOU to all involved! " I had a 2002 soft tail and a 2003 low rider some of the other dealers did not want the low rider or two bike in trade. But Chris made me a deal that i felt was in the price range i was looking to get. I needed or should I say wanted a 2007 ultra classic for tomahawk rally They got me the bike i wanted Friday the 8th and Tuesday the 12th I picked up the bike thanks to a great crew.
P.S The wife loves the big butt seat!! "
