Tom treated himself to the ultimate Christmas gift every big kid at heart dreams about last December, a new motorcycle. With last year going how it did, the realization that riding is not only a favorite pass time, but it is throttle therapy he enjoys. In the short six months, he’s already put some serious miles on his 2020 Street Glide Special!
|Tom has been riding motorcycles for over 47 years. He’s been fascinated with the sport since he’s been a kid. He gained his interest from family members such as his uncle, brother-in-law, and others. He also read magazines, which further grew his love for motorcycles! At the age of just 19, he purchased his first motorcycle, which was a Yamaha 175. Tom was inspired to ride alongside some family members, but also the opportunity to meet new people. He enjoys being a part of some HOG chapters. He is a member of the Open Road Harley-Davidson Chapter and also Bull Falls Harley-Davidson.|
Tom has owned several motorcycles over his 47 years in the sport. Since the year 2000, he has been consistently riding Harley-Davidson’s. In this period, he has owned nine different bikes. Some of those included an Ultra-Classic, Fat Boy, Road Glide Ultra, Super Glide, and two Street Glide Specials. Tom admitted that his most recent bike purchase of his ‘20 Street Glide Special has to be his favorite bike.
|Tom enjoys getting out on the road by himself and racking up some miles. He loves to travel on his bike, whether it be a Saturday Day trip around Wisconsin to other dealerships to get his Dealer Passport stamped or travel out of state. His favorite trip on his bike was out to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. He loved just getting on the road and seeing some cool landmarks like the Glaciers. He also enjoyed his trip down to Northern Alabama. Tom hopes one day he can ride down to North Carolina and Tennessee.|
Tom would ride by Open Road H-D all the time on his truck, and he decided to stop one day. Tom liked how when he walked through the doors that the staff was friendly and extremely helpful! The atmosphere led him to buy his favorite and most memorable Christmas present.
